What is LABRAT
BERBERJIN is a longstanding store in Harajuku that was established in September 2006. “LABRATORY” is their exclusive brand created by designer, Yoshiyuki Maeda, that is coveted by highly trend conscious consumers. LABRAT is an abbreviation for Laboratory, with the idea of experimenting with what they want to create instead of being swayed by current trend. It is based on the concept of a chaotic brand that mixes conflicting themes such as hardcore and romantic, one-off and manufacturing, graphics and drawing, underground and pop culture.
